Here I should write something about my design philosophy, what motivates me and gets my creative juices flowing
The most difficult, time consuming, exciting, wonderful, breath-taking part of my process is the design concept. The idea can come to me during a brainstorming session, a walk in town, while watching a film or even in my sleep. And it’s my duty to evolve it into realisation, whether that is a room design, a unique handmade piece or a one-of-a-kind event.
Step one. Get to know the client | Step two. Define their needs | Step three. Develop the design concept | Step four. Bring it to life
Since my return to Cyprus in 2011, I have worked as a designer at an Architect’s office, a Space Planner for an international furniture company and an Interior Designer of both residential and office spaces. In addition, I have had the opportunity to explore many different fields of design, by starting my own event decorating and design practice, designing and manufacturing various furniture and woodwork accessories and currently pursuing an MA degree in Graphic Design Communication at Cyprus University of Technology.
My personal design aesthetics is new and weird but yet comfortable and familiar. I choose to combine the fresh and cold materials of contemporary design with the warm feeling of vintage elements, creating my own mix and match results
The L7.Crew consists of people from different backgrounds, each unique in their own way, bringing something new to the design table.
